Qimo Farm World · a game by Qimo Farms
Qimo Farm World is a 3D farming game from Qimo Farms. Choose a plot, prepare the land, plant, look after your crops, harvest and sell at the market, one season at a time.

Farm work takes time, the weather changes from season to season and every crop needs its own care. You hire workers, buy seed and inputs, fence your land and sell what you grow at the region's market.
The decisions are yours, and the results follow from them: a field watered and weeded on time yields well; a field left alone does not.
Pick a plot on real open farmland, read its soil and water, and make it yours.
Clear and prepare a field by hand or with a hired tractor, then plant the crop that suits the season.
Water, weed, feed and protect the crop, and give it the care step it needs at the right stage.
Harvest the crop, keep the produce in your store and sell it to the buyers at the market.
Every farmer starts with maize. Each level opens new crops, and from level 3 each new crop brings a care step of its own.
Every farmer starts here: prepare, plant, water, weed, harvest and sell.
Dry cobs; the hard yellow grain is shelled off the cob and sold by weight.
Fast vegetables, picked or cut more than once.
Leafy stems cut and tied in bunches, sold fresh.
Young green pods with five ridges, picked before they turn woody; inside are rows of white seeds.
Root crops, dug by hand a part at a time.
Long roots with rough brown skin; under the peel the flesh is white and starchy.
Spindle-shaped roots with red skin; inside, the flesh is cream.
A vine that has to be staked and trained.
Dark green fruit picked young; inside, the flesh is pale with soft seeds.
Picked again and again as the fruit turns red.
Long, slender chilies picked when red; green ones are left on the plant to ripen.
Produce pictures are made in the game. Many people have never seen what a cassava root or an okra pod looks like before it reaches the market. The game shows the produce of every crop before you plant it, in your store and when you sell.
Real crops are not all looked after the same way, and neither are the crops in the game. You see your workers do each job on the field, and you see what happens when it is done late or not at all.

Game screenshotTurn on Education Mode for short lessons at the moment they matter: after you water, before you plant, when the crop is ready.
Lessons draw on published farming guides, including those of IITA, NAERLS and the International Potato Center (CIP), and name their sources.
Game screenshotFarms sit on real open farmland in three regions, each with its own market, buyers and prices. Trucks carry produce to market, roaming cattle test your fences, and other players farm nearby, visit each other's farms and take on jobs.
Everything in the game is paid for in Farm Credits (FC). Farm Credits are game credits only: they cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money.
Qimo Farm World is separate from the Qimo Farms estates and Farm Plans. Nothing in the game is an offer, and nothing that happens in it says anything about a real farm's results.
