About Qimo Farms
Qimo Farms is a developing agricultural estate business in Nigeria, focused on oil palm, cocoa, coconut and mango production. It currently has 70 hectares of land available in Biase Local Government Area, Cross River State.
Company overview
Qimo Farms is building a crop estate business from a growing land base. The business model is straightforward: secure suitable land, establish crops under sound agronomic practice, maintain them to maturity, and sell the produce into established markets. Value is created steadily, through good land, good planting material and consistent management.
Qimo Farms currently has a confirmed 70-hectare estate in Biase LGA, Cross River State. Soil testing is complete and all four crop projects are in land preparation. Of the 70 hectares, 68 are allocated to crops: oil palm 32 hectares, cocoa 20 hectares, coconut 10 hectares and mango 6 hectares. The remaining 2 hectares are reserved for shared infrastructure.
Vision
To be a professionally managed, transparently reported agricultural estate business that demonstrates what disciplined tree-crop farming can achieve in Nigeria.
Mission
To establish and operate productive oil palm, cocoa, coconut and mango farm projects under sound agronomic practice, honest record-keeping and responsible land stewardship.
Business objectives
- Verify, survey and technically assess available land before any planting.
- Manage the confirmed 70-hectare estate: oil palm 32 hectares, cocoa 20 hectares, coconut 10 hectares and mango 6 hectares, with 2 hectares reserved for infrastructure.
- Build reliable farm management and record-keeping from day one.
- Publish any future expansion only after land is secured and management approves the plan.
- Evaluate palm fruit processing once fresh fruit bunch volumes justify it.
- Maintain strong governance and legally compliant participation structures.
Agricultural location
Qimo Farms currently has 70 hectares of land available in Biase Local Government Area, Cross River State, in the humid forest zone of south-eastern Nigeria, a region with a long history of oil palm and tree-crop cultivation.
Further locations will be announced once secured. Detailed site information and community references will be published as development progresses.
Long-term development approach
We develop in phases rather than all at once. Each phase must be verified, planned and funded before work begins, and each is recorded so that progress can be checked against the plan.
Tree crops take years to reach production. We plan on that timescale and do not promise results the crops cannot deliver.
Management philosophy
Agriculture rewards patience, routine and attention to detail. Our management philosophy rests on four commitments: follow agronomic advice, keep accurate records, spend carefully, and report honestly.
Commitment to transparency
We label every published figure with its confidence level and never present an estimate as a result. Our Transparency page shows the current state of the estate, what has been verified, and what is still pending.
Responsible agricultural development
We develop the estate with attention to land stewardship, neighbouring communities and applicable law. Soil testing is complete, land preparation is under way, and public progress records are updated as work is recorded.
Long-term value-chain ambitions
Over time, Qimo Farms may extend beyond primary production into palm fruit processing, agricultural services and partnerships along the value chain. These are ambitions, not commitments, and each will be evaluated on its own merits when the estate is ready.
